Katherine Rosner
ENSEMBLE MEMBER
Katherine Rosner (she/her) is an educator and performer currently based in Seoul, South Korea. She studied musical theatre and acting at American University, before ultimately earning both a B.A. in Theatre Performance and a B.A. in English Literature from UNC-Wilmington. In addition to being an alumnus of the Make Trouble Academy, Katherine has studied Shakespeare through the Speech of Fire Theatre Company and has studied voice extensively under the tutelage of Ethan Watermeier, Richard DeRosa, and Timothy Wong. While based in Wilmington, Katherine was a troupe member of Pineapple-Shaped Lamps and was lucky enough to be a part of numerous theatrical productions with local organizations such as Cape Fear Shakespeare, MoB Theatre Company, DramTree Shakespeare, Thalian Association, Cape Fear Theatre Arts, and more. Katherine has been living as an expat in Asia for nearly five years. Previously based in Beijing, China, Katherine could often be found at the U.S.-China Comedy Center doing improvisational work. At present, she can be found educating young learners daily and performing and directing with groups such as the Camarata Music Company and Seoul Players. Katherine is thrilled to be joining Sihr Theatre Company as a founding ensemble member and is so excited to support the beautiful theatrical vision this troupe has to offer to the community.
